Who Are We?

Organized as a guild in 1979 by several local community-minded women, Assistance League of Victor Valley achieved chapter status in 1982 and is a chapter of National Assistance League®. For more information about our national organization, please visit their website www.assistanceleague.org.

Assistance League of Victor Valley is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation whose volunteer members administer and control philanthropic programs that serve specific needs of our local community. Funds raised are returned to the Victor Valley community through these programs - service programs of vital concern to children.

As needs in our local community change, so do the nature and scope of programs that Assistance League of Victor Valley administers and supports. At present, the funds that are raised through the ¢ommon ¢ents Thrift Shop, community donations, grants, fundraising activities and events are returned to the local community through the following programs: Operation School Bell®, Project R.E.A.D., Kids on the Block™, Operation Hug, Assault Survivor Kits®, and I'm In Charge.
